What is stenciling?
Stenciling is the process of producing an image by spreading paint over an intermediary object called a stencil. Creating a picture requires you to first cut a negative image of the desired design into a suitably sturdy material. It is used to transfer simple images onto walls or paper and is widely used in street art. The charms of stencilling are its rapid production of like designs and its simple application to any flat surface.
